D. 2005, Nov., Beijing, Peking University, I attended East Civilizations in the Process of Globalization: the Second Beijing Conference of Harvard-Yeching Alumni in China. 2006, Aug., Tianjin, Nankai University, I attended the conference of Reorienting American History: From the Perspective of International Approach. 2006-2007., As a volunteer of the Passage of Martin Luther King, Jr in China, I worked with Stanford University, and helped them to translate Martin Luther King’s articles into Chinese. 2008, Mar. - May., As an ICJS (International Center of Jefferson Studies), I took part in the ICJS Forum at Monticello, Virginia, USA, and gave a lecture—— Republican Revisionism and the Contested Cannons in American Historiography.

Research Interests

My interest mainly focus on European and American intellectual history and early American history. At present, I am very interested in reading Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben's works and working on a project concerning American presidential power and the bio-politics in American history.
