Research Interests

My research interests focus on the History of the relations between the United States and Latin America XIX and XX century, specially Cold War problematic and current times issues, such as populism and democracy.

 

Currently I am working on my dissertation titled Latin Americanizing the Alliance for Progress: The Making of the Alliance for Progress from an Inter-American Perspective. In this research, I explain the decision-making of the Alliance for Progress as an Inter-American process, explaining the negotiations between American reservations and Latin American demands
